Day 142 - Another random day

Here's the sill covers that I covered:

I wanted to mount the ECU (originally I wanted it on the rear bulkhead, but this instruction wasn't passed on, and it has to go behind the seat). I made a template out of cardboard, so I could check that the connector and the relays that are also on the cable would fit:

It did, so I cut a hole in the rear bulkhead:

And after a couple of rivnuts, it was in place.

When I removed the water temperature plug and soldered the wires on directly, I ended up with a spare plug. This was fortunate, because it was exactly what was on the back of the charge cooler water pump.

I also used my second 6-way connector, and joined the flying cables coming off the ECU with their respective counterparts in the loom.

I filed the holes in the door panels, so all the bolts would fit.

I also replaced some more of the self-adhesive cable tie holders with epoxy glued ones.
