I was beginning to run out of things I can do until I order some parts - but it did seem like a good time to start carpetting the interior.
I started with the left hand side.
And then did the right.
I was running a bit low on contact adhesive, so I decided to leave the rear bit until I'd got some more.
As I had the front section open, I re-did the front panel lip I did a while ago - I hadn't anticipated the wiper motor bracket, and it caused the end to drop a bit. So, I cut a section out, and glued it down again.
I made some plates out of aluminium to cover the old seat holes (I'd done it on the left hand side a while ago, so I just needed to do the right hand side and centre seat). I also put some duct tape over them to prevent me from moving them while they're setting.
There was a gap underneath the driver's seat that I wanted to fill, so I made a template out of cardboard.
And then made it out of aluminium.
And I then covered it with carpet.
I reworked the handbrake panel, and also the gearstick panel. This should make it easier for me to get a handbrake gaiter (or make one).
I'd really like to panel the whole cable area, but it's too close to the seat:
I then fitted the seats, and the sill covers, and took some pictures - it's coming along nicely!
