I had a bit of a problem with my other car (Mondeo) which needed looking at, so last weekend I was trying to find out why it was overheating. I still haven't found what's wrong with it, so while I wait, I decided to cover the inner door panels with Alicante.
To remind you, this is what the panels look like:
I used up about half of the roll of Alicante on the first:
And I had just about enough to do the other side:
Luckily I've got another 2m roll of Alicante which I can use on some of the other panels. The front disc pads turned up today as well, so I can now bleed the system. However, this weekend it's the Donnington kit car show - I've got a couple of bits I want to get (namely a gearknob and gaiter, and a handbrake gaiter). I also want to see if I can sort the Mondeo out - so it's possibly another weekend off (unless I can fix the Mondeo very quickly).
