I needed a solid plate to bond the gaiter I made last night to, so it could go over the gearstick itself. I made a template out of cardboard.

Which I then traced around, and made one out of aluminium.

And this fitted around the gearstick like this:

After bonding the gaiter to it...

...and then fitting it to the gearstick

Job done. Tomorrow, handbrake gaiter (once I get some thinner aluminium bar).
