Day 168 - Final day (kind of)

Today was the day I wanted to get all of the things on my todo list done.

So, starting with the sills - I got some GRP resin, and bonded the bolts to the sills.

I also took the opportunity to fill in the corners of the rear section which I'd cut a lot earlier on.

I bolted the sills on, and the sill top panels and gave the iniside a bit of a clean, in preparation for use

While I was doing that, I programmed the Digidash unit with my wheel sizes and estimated weight.<.p>

Another thing that wasn't on my todo list was trim the lights - I'd been told that they needed a bit of a trim, so I measured 15mm from the outside.

And then trimmed it - although I had to leave a bit on the near-side because I'dve cut into the base of the light section.

To finish it off, I bolted the lens covers on - and just for protection, put some foam over them to protect them.

And that's pretty much it - I've got to sort out the rear section (the back end is too high - I think it's because I had to make my own braces early on because the supplied ones were too short - they might have actually been the right size).

I'm also going to put some sikaflex on the corners where the rubber edging meets other rubber edging, and I'll also get some nut covers for a few nuts that are mainly hidden anyway (but best to be safe!)
